Photography as a meditative practice

Photography workshops to foster well-being through a deeper connection with oneself and the world around us

About me

After completing a degree in photography, I spent 20 years capturing interiors and gardens—until life took an unexpected turn. Health challenges forced me to slow down and to shift my focus inward. During this time, mindfulness and inner work became important supports in my daily life, helping me stay grounded and present. Photography, once a career, evolved into a more contemplative practice—a way of seeing with presence and intention. This journey gave birth to Seeing the Now, where I combine my love for  photography and mindful presence.

Bringing mindfulness and creativity together, my workshops offer a unique approach to well-being through photography. I collaborate with individuals, organizations, and communities to integrate mindfulness and photography for personal and collective growth.

My vision is to create a nurturing space where individuals can explore photography as a way to reawaken presence and  perception. Join me in this transformative journey through the lens.

Seeing The Now welcomes opportunities to collaborate through both photography and mindful creative practice. Alongside Mindful Photography workshops, I undertake photographic commissions for private and public gardens, estates, and organisations, creating images that celebrate the beauty, character, and quiet rhythms of the natural world. Whether facilitating workshops or making photographs, my work is rooted in slowing down, paying close attention, and revealing the unique qualities of a place.
